Kris Bowers (Green Book, King Richard, Dear White People, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Mrs. America, When They See Us) & Pierre Charles have teamed up to score the upcoming Netflix limited series Inventing Anna. The show is created by Shonda Rhimes (Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal) inspired by the New York Magazine article How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People by Jessica Pressler and stars Anna Chlumsky, Julia Garner, Arian Moayed, Alexis Floyd, Anders Holm, Terry Kinney, Katie Lowes, Jeff Perry, Anna Deavere Smith and Laverne Cox. The 9-part drama tells the true story of a journalist who chases down the story of Anna Delvey, who convinced New York’s elite she was a German heiress. Rhimes is also executive producing the Shondaland production with Betsy Beers, as well as David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada, Marley & Me) and Verica who also directed several episodes. Bowers has previously scored the Rhimes-produced ABC drama For the People and Netflix series Bridgerton. Inventing Anna will premiere on February 11, 2022 exclusively on Netflix.
Bowers also continues to score Netflix’s Bridgerton & Raising Dion, both of which will return for their second seasons in 2022.
