Rupert Gregson-Williams (Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Hacksaw Ridge, Over the Hedge, The Crown, The Legend of Tarzan) has composed the original music for the upcoming Netflix original film Home Team. The movie is directed by Charles Francis Kinnane & Daniel Kinnane and stars Kevin James, Taylor Lautner, Rob Schneider, Jackie Sandler, Gary Valentine, Lavell Crawford, Chloe Fineman, Tait Blum, Maxwell Simkins, Jacob Perez, Bryant Tardy, Isaiah Mustafa and Jared Sandler. The family comedy is based on a true story and follows a suspended NFL coach who hopes to reconnect with his son by coaching his hapless youth football team. James is also producing the Happy Madison production with Adam Sandler, Kevin Grady (The Do-Over, The Wrong Missy) and Allen Covert (Murder Mystery, Pixels). Gregson-Williams has previously scored numerous project for Happy Madison over the last fifteen years, including Click, You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, Bedtime Stories, Just Go With It and Grown Ups. Home Team will premiere on January 28, 2022 on Netlix.
Gregson-Williams’ other upcoming projects include James Wan’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and HBO’s The Gilded Age (co-scored with Harry Gregson-Williams).
