Maisie Music Publishing has released a soundtrack EP for the Netflix original film Mixtape. The EP features four songs from the movie: Walk Away & Crash Right Through It written by Joel P West (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and performed by Jackson Rathbone, the cover version of King Harvest’s Dancing in the Moonlight produced by the film’s composer Tamar-kali and performed by cast members Gemma Brooke Allen, Audrey Hsieh & Olga Petsa and The Wrong Song written by Amy Wadge and performed by mxmtoon & Dylan Chenfeld. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also check out all four tracks below. Mixtape is directed by Valerie Weiss and also stars Julie Bowen and Nick Thune. The coming-of-age drama is set in the late 90s and follows a 12-year old girl who discovers a broken mixtape made by her late parents and sets out to find the songs and learn more about her mom and dad. The film is premiering today exclusively on Netflix.
