Music Box Records has announced a new soundtrack album and premiere CD release for the 1986 French comedy Family Council (Conseil de famille) directed by Costa-Gavras and starring Johnny Hallyday, Fanny Ardant and Guy Marchand. The album features the expanded and remastered original music from the film composed and conducted by Georges Delerue (Platoon, Twins, Steel Magnolias, Joe Versus the Volcano, Beaches). Also included is the composer’s score for the 1977 French thriller Focal Point (Le point de mire) directed by Jean-Claude Tramont and starring Annie Girardot and Jacques Dutronc. The CD, which is limited to 1,000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the full track list and find out more details about the release.
