WaterTower Music has released the first track from the soundtrack for the action fantasy adventure Mortal Kombat. Available to stream/download now is Techno Syndrome 2021, a new version of the Oliver Adams-composed theme song from the 90s game produced by the film’s composer Benjamin Wallfisch (Shazam!, It, Blade Runner 2049, Hidden Figures, Annabelle Creation, Lights Out). Visit Amazon (or any other major digital music service) to stream/download the song and also listen to the full track after the jump. A full soundtrack album featuring Wallfisch’s score from the new movie will be announced soon. Mortal Kombat is directed by Simon McQuoid and stars Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Tadanobu Asano, Mehcad Brooks, Ludi Lin, Chin Han, Joe Taslim and Hiroyuki Sanada. The movie will be released in theaters nationwide on April 23 by Warner Bros. Pictures and will also be available to stream on HBO Max on the same day.
