Zacarias M. de la Riva (Automata, The Kill Team, Tad the Explorer, Bent) has shared a new behind-the-scenes look at the creation of his score for the Spanish Netflix original film Below Zero (Bajocero). The video features an interview with the composer talking about his musical approach for the thriller, the composing process and the challenges of recording his music during the first national lockdown in Spain last year, as well as footage from the orchestral recording sessions with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra, which he supervised remotely from his studio in Madrid. Check out the video below. A soundtrack album featuring de la Riva’s score from Below Zero has been released by MovieScore Media and the film is now available to stream on Netflix.
