Michael Andrews (Donnie Darko, Bridesmaids, Freaks & Geeks, Bad Teacher, The Big Sick, Instant Family, Daddy’s Home) has composed the original score for the upcoming Netflix original film Yes Day. The movie is directed by Miguel Arteta (The Good Girl, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day) and stars Jennifer Garner, Edgar Ramirez, Jenna Ortega, Everly Carganilla, Julian Lerner,, Fortune Feimster, Arturo Castro, Nat Faxon and Molly Sims. The family comedy follows a a couple who – tired of always saying no – gives their kids one whole day to make the rules and going on, kicking off a whirlwind adventure around Los Angeles. Justin Malen (Office Christmas Party, Father Figures) wrote the screenplay based on the 2009 children’s book of the same title by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. Garner is also producing the project with Lawrence Grey (Lights Out, The Laundromat), Ben Everard, Nicole King (Dollface) and Daniel Rappaport (Office Space). Yes Day will premiere on March 12, 2021 exclusively on Netflix.
