H. Scott Salinas (The Banker, The Ballad of Lefty Brown, Warrior, Birth of the Dragon, Sea of Shadows) is the composer of the upcoming CBS All Access original series Coyote. The show is created by David Graziano (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Lie to Me), Michael Carnes & Josh Gilbert (Mr. Woodcock) and stars Michael Chiklis, Juan Pablo Raba, Adriana Paz, Kristyan Ferrer, Octavio Pisano, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams and Julio Cedillo . The drama tells the story of a story of a man, who after 32 years as a border patrol agent, is forced to work for the very people he spent his career trying to keep out of America. Graziano, Carnes, Gilbert and Chiklis are also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television and Dark Horse Entertainment production with Mike Richardson (Hellboy) & Keith Goldberg (The Umbrella Academy), Rebecca Hobbs (Keith), as well as Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad) who also directed the first two episodes. Coyote will premiere on January 7, 2021 exclusively on CBS All Access.
Salinas also has the HBO Sports docu-series Tiger coming up. The 2-parter is directed by Matthew Heineman & Matthew Hamachek and chronicles the rise, fall, and epic comeback of global icon Tiger Woods. Alex Gibney, Sam Pollard, Stacey Offman, Richard Perello, Armen Keteyian and Jeff Benedict are executive producing the show, which is set to premiere in January on HBO and HBO Max. Salinas has previously collaborated with Heineman on multiple projects, including Cartel Land, A Private War, The Trade, City of Ghosts, as well as The Boy from Medellín, which premiered at this year’s Toronto Film Festival and will debut next year on Amazon Prime.
