Guy Farley (Anthropoid, Cashback, Secret Sharer, That Good Night) is set to score the upcoming British drama There’s Always Hope. The film is written and directed by Tim Lewiston and stars Colm Meaney, Kate Ashfield, Hannah Chinn and Brenda Meaney. The movie follows a successful author who has been so obsessed with trying to pen his magnum opus that he has let his marriage fall apart and decides to drive to the family villa in Portugal where their young daughter and her half-sister try to help sort things out. Alan Latham (Macbeth, Waiting for Anya ), Harriet Hammond (You, Me & Him) and Victor Glynn (Staged) are producing the project. Farley has previously scored Lewiston’s first feature The Hot Potato. There’s Always Hope is currently shooting in the Algarve, Portugal. A release in 2021 is expected. (Deadline)
Farley has also recently composed the score for the Russian historical drama Silver Skates, which is currently scheduled to be released in Russian theaters this December.
