Dan the Automator (Booksmart, Control) has composed the original score for the new Netflix original film Holidate. The movie is directed by John Whitesell (Big Momma’s House 2, Malibu’s Most Wanted) and stars Emma Roberts, Luke Bracey, Jessica Capshaw, Andrew Bachelor, Jake Manley, Frances Fisher, Manish Dayal and Kristin Chenoweth. The romantic comedy centers on two strangers fed up with being single on holidays who agree to be each other’s platonic plus-ones all year long, only to catch real feelings along the way. Tiffany Paulsen (Nancy Drew, Adventures in Babysitting) wrote the screenplay. McG (Charlie’s Angels, Terminator: Salvation) and Mary Viola (The Babysitter, The DUFF) are producing the project for Wonderland Sound and Vision. Holidate will premiere on October 28, 2020 on Netflix.
