Amie Doherty (Undone, The High Note, Battle at Big Rock, Marooned, Here and Now) has been tapped to score the upcoming romantic comedy Happiest Season. The film is directed by Clea DuVall (The Intervention) and stars Kristen Stewart, Mackenzie Davis, Alison Brie, Aubrey Plaza, Daniel Levy, Victor Garber and Mary Steenburgen. The movie follow a woman who is planning to propose to her girlfriend while at her family’s annual Christmas party, but then discovers her partner hasn’t yet come out to her conservative parents. DuVall also co-wrote the screenplay with Mary Holland. Issac Klausner (First Man, Love, Simon) and Marty Bowen (The Fault in Our Stars, The Maze Runner) are producing the project. Happiest Season is set to be released in theaters nationwide on November 25, 2020 by TriStar Pictures.
