Oli Julian (Sex Education, Catastrophe, How to Build a Girl, Episodes, Plebs) is the composer of the new Netflix original series The Duchess. The show is created by Katherine Ryan and stars Ryan herself, Rory Keenan, Katy Byrne, Steen Raskopolous, Michelle de Swarte and Sophie Fletcher. The comedy follows a disruptive single mom living in London as she is trying to juggle her career, her tween daughter, her relationship with her boyfriend – and pondering getting pregnant with her ex. Ryan is also executive producing the project with Petra Fried & Murray Ferguson (The End of the F***ing World, Misfits), Dave Becky (Insecure, Rough Night) and Josh Lieberman (American Vandal). The Duchess is premiering today exclusively on Netflix.
Julian also continues to score Netflix’s Sex Education, which has just started production on its third season, as well as FX’s Breeders and Sky’s & Peacock’s Code 404, which both will return for a second season.
