Rupert Gregson-Williams (Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Hacksaw Ridge, The Crown, The Legend of Tarzan) has recently been scoring the upcoming comedy drama Fatherhood. The film is directed by Paul Weitz (American Pie, About a Boy) and stars Kevin Hart, Alfre Woodard, Lil Rel Howery, Anthony Carrigan, Deborah Ayorinde, Melody Hurd, Paul Reiser and DeWanda Wise. The movie is based on Matthew Logelin’s memoir Two Kisses for Maddy and centers on a dad who is forced to raise a child on his own and finds himself wholly unprepared for the challenge. Weitz also co-wrote the screenplay with Dana Stevens (City of Angels, For Love of the Game). Hart is producing the project with Marty Bowen (The Maze Runner, The Fault in Our Stars), David Beaubaire, Peter Kiernan (6 Balloons). Fatherhood is currently scheduled to be released in theaters nationwide on April 2, 2021 by Sony Pictures.

Gregson-Williams has also recently contributed the main theme for the Chinese war drama The Eight Hundred, which is currently playing in theaters.
