22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the Belgian/French animated feature Yakari – A Spectacular Journey (Yakari- La grande aventure). The album features the film’s original music composed by Guillaume Poyet. The soundtrack is being released overseas today and will be coming out worldwide in a few weeks. Yakari directed by Xavier Giacometti & Toby Genkel (Little Bird’s Big Adventure, All Creatures Big And Small) is based on the best-selling Belgian-French comic-book series created by Derib & Job and follows Yakari on his first solo trek (with the help of his totem animal, an eagle) in pursuit of Little Thunder, a wild mustang said to be untameable. The Dargaud Media production is being released in French theaters today by BAC Films.
