Jonathan Sanford (Dare Me, That Moment When) is scoring the new Netflix original series Teenage Bounty Hunters. The show is created by Kathleen Jordan and stars Maddie Phillips, Anjelica Bette Fellini, Kadeem Hardison, Virginia Williams, Mackenzie Astin, Method Man, Myles Evans, Spencer House, Devon Hales and Shirley Rumierk. The comedy follows two twin sisters as they balance teen life at an elite Southern high school with an unlikely new career as butt-kicking bounty hunters. Jenji Kohan (Orange Is the New Black, Weeds, Glow) is producing the project with Tara Herrmann, Robert Sudduth, and Blake McCormick. Jesse Peretz (Our Idiot Brother, Juliet, Naked) directed and executive produced the first episode. Teenage Bounty Hunters will premiere on August 14 exclusively on Netflix.
Sanford also has the feature comedy Good on Paper directed by Kimmy Gatewood and starring Iliza Shlesinger (who also wrote the screenplay and is producing the project) coming up. The movie is expected to be released later this year.
