Siddhartha Khosla (This Is Us, Runaways, Looking for Alaska, The Royals) has teamed up with Lauren Culjak to score the upcoming Hulu original series Love, Victor. The show is created by Isaac Aptaker & Elizabeth Berger based on the 2018 feature Love, Simon, which was inspired by Becky Albertalli’s novel Simon Vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, and stars Michael Cimino, Ana Ortiz, James Martinez, Isabella Ferreira, Rachel Naomi Hilson, Bebe Wood, George Sear, Anthony Turpel and Mason Gooding The dramedy is set in the world of the Love, Simon movie (scored by Rob Simonsen) and follows a new student at Creekwood High School on his own journey of self-discovery, facing challenges at home, adjusting to a new city, and struggling with his sexual orientation. Aptaker & Berger who also wrote the 2018 film are also executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television production with Brian Tanen (Grand Hotel, Devious Maids), Jason Ensler (The Exorcist, The Passage), Isaac Klausner (First Man), Marty Bowen (The Fault in Our Stars, The Maze Runner), Adam Fishbach (Narcos), Wyck Godfrey (Twilight series, I, Robot), Pouya Shahbazian (Divergent, American Honey) and Adam Londy. Love, Victor is set to premiere on June 19, 2020 exclusively on Hulu.
Khosla also continues to score NBC’s This Is Us, which recently finished its fourth season run and has already been renewed for a fifth and sixth season. He is also set to return to co-score the CW’s Nancy Drew with Jeff Garber. Culjak has contributed additional music to the first season of Nancy Drew.
