Def Jam Recordings has released the original song I Choose from the Netflix animated film The Willoughbys. The track is performed by Alessia Cara, produced by Jon Levine and co-written by Cara herself, the film’s composer Mark Mothersbaugh, director Kris Pearn, Jordyn Kane, Jason Rabinowitz, Mark Mothersbaugh, Brayden Deskins, Colton Fisher and Diana Studenberg. The song is now available to stream and download as a digital single on Amazon. Also listen to the full track after the jump. The Willoughbys is directed by Kris Pearn & Cory Evans and stars Will Forte, Cara herself, Ricky Gervais, Terry Crews, Maya Rudolph, Jane Krakowski and Martin Short. The animated movie is based on based on Lois Lowry’s children’s book of same name and tells the story of four children abandoned by their selfish parents who learn how to adapt their old-fashioned values to the contemporary world. The film will premiere on April 22, 2020 exclusively on Netflix.
