Waxwork Records has announced the world premiere release of the complete score for the 1988 horror sequel Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood directed by John Carl Buechler and starring Lar Park Lincoln, Kevin Blair, Susan Blu, Terry Kiser and Kane Hodder. The album features the film’s original music composed by Harry Manfredini (House, Wishmaster, Swamp Thing) who composed the music for all the previous movies in the franchise and Fred Mollin (Fast Company, Screwballs II) who also scored Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. A vinyl edition is set to come out this May (click here to pre-order). Friday the 13th Part VII is now available on VOD and DVD.
