Arturo Cardelús is set to compose the music for the upcoming animated feature Girl and Wolf (Chica y Lobo). The film marks the feature directorial debut of animator Roc Espinet (Birdboy: The Forgotten Children, Deadly Class) and is based on his own graphic novel about an innocent girl who grew up in an orphanage in a medieval village besieged by wolves and must deal with that adversity as well as gloomy childhood traumas, hunters and wild spirits. Xosé Zapatais producing the project for Sygnatia Films, alongside Álex Cervantes for Hampa Studio. Cardelús (In a Heartbeat, Call Me Francis) has previously scored the Cervantes-produced animated movie Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles. No word yet on release date for Girl and Wolf. (Variety)
