John Frizzell (Alien: Resurrection, Dante’s Peak, Office Space, Beavis and Butthead Do America) is composing the original score for the new Fox animated comedy Duncanville. The show is created by Mike Scully (The Simpsons), Julie Scully & Amy Poehler and stars Poehler herself, Ty Burrell, Riki Lindhome, Betsy Sodaro, Yassir Lester and Zach Cherry. Rashida Jones, Wiz Khalifa and Joy Osmanski are guest starring. The series centers around a spectacularly average 15-year-old boy with a rich fantasy life, and the people in his world. Mike and Julie Scully & Poehler are also executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television, Universal Television and FOX Entertainment production with Dave Becky (Master of None, Baskets). The series is animated by Bento Box Entertainment (Bob’s Burgers). Duncanville will premiere on February 16 and will air every Sunday night on Fox. Visit the official show website for updates.
Frizzell has also recently scored CBS All Access’ Tell Me a Story, which just finished its second season run earlier this month.
