Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album for the BBC drama World on Fire . The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Dan Jones (On Chesil Beach, Shadow of the Empire, Any Human Heart, Lady Macbeth, The Miniaturist). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. World on Fire is written by Peter Bowker and stars Julia Brown, Yrsa Daley-Ward, Sean Bean, Lesley Manville, Jonah Hauer-King, Helen Hunt, Blake Harrison, Zofia Wichłacz, Brian J. Smith, Parker Sawyers, Tomasz Kot, Bruno Alexander, Patrick Kennedy, Johannes Zeiler and Eugénie Derouand. The World War II drama follows the intertwining fates of ordinary people in five countries as they grapple with the effects of the war on their everyday lives. The series premiered in the UK last fall on BBC One and will debut in the U.S. as part of PBS’ Masterpiece on April 5, 2020.
