Jon Ehrlich (House, Parenthood, Goliath, About a Boy) is composing the original score for Freeform’s new reboot of Party of Five. The show is created by Amy Lippman & Christopher Keyser based on their 90s hit Fox series and stars Brandon Larracuente, Emily Tosta, Niko Guardado and Elle Paris Legaspi. The drama follows the five Acosta children as they navigate daily life struggles to survive as a family unit after their parents are suddenly deported back to Mexico. Keyser and Lippman are also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television production with Rodrigo Garcia (Albert Nobbs, Mother and Child). Ehrlich has previously scored the final two seasons of the original Party of Five series. The Party of Five reboot will premiere on January 8 and air every Wednesday night on Freeform.
Ehrlich also continues to score Fox’s The Resident, which currently airs in its third season every Tuesday night.
