Varese Sarabande has announced the latest titles in its CD Club series, including a deluxe edition soundtrack for the 1997 action thriller Air Force One directed by Wolfgang Petersen and starring Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman, Glenn Close, Xander Berkeley, William H. Macy and Dean Stockwell. The album features the expanded original score from the movie composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Planet of the Apes, Chinatown, Patton). Joel McNeely (A Million Ways to Die in the West, The Orville) has composed additional music. The label has also announced a deluxe edition soundtrack for the 1975 western Rooster Cogburn directed by Stuart Millar and starring John Wayne and Katharine Hepburn. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Laurence Rosenthal (Clash of the Titans, Becket, Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Meteor).
