Abel Korzeniowski (A Single Man, The Nun, Penny Dreadful, Nocturnal Animals, W.E.) has been hired to score the upcoming Showtime original series Halo. The show is developed by Kyle Killen (The Beaver, Awake) based on the hit video game of the same title and stars Pablo Schreiber, Yerin Ha, Natascha McElhone, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Bentley Kalu, Natasha Culzac and Kate Kennedy. The live-action drama centers on an epic 26th century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant. Killen is also executive producing the project with co-showrunner Steven Kane (The Last Ship), Amblin Television’s Darryl Frank & Justin Falvey (The Haunting of Hill House, Falling Skies), series director Otto Bathurst (Robin Hood), One Big Picture’s Toby Leslie, Chapter Eleven’s Scott Pennington (Wild Bill) and Karen Richards. Halo will start shooting in Budapest later this year and is set to premiere in early 2021 on Showtime.
Korzeniowski’s other upcoming projects include Lee Tamahori’s Emperor.
