Lakeshore Records and Invada Records will release a soundtrack album for the drama Monos. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Mica Levi (Jackie, Under the Skin). The soundtrack will be released on August 30 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also download a first track. Monos is co-written and directed by Alejandro Landes and stars Julianne Nicholson, Moisés Arias, Sofia Buenaventura, Deiby Rueda, Karen Quintero, Laura Castrillón, Julián Giraldo, Paul Cubides, Sneider Castro and Wilson Salazar. The movie centers around a group of eight kids with guns who watch over a hostage and a conscripted milk cow at a faraway mountaintop. The drama premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in select U.S. theaters on September 13 by Neon. Visit the official movie website for updates.
