Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the drama Brian Banks. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, Elf, The Jungle Book, Iron Man 2, Bruce Almighty). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 2 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Brian Banks is directed by Tom Shadyac and stars Aldis Hodge, Greg Kinnear, Sherri Shepherd and Melanie Liburd. The movie tells the true story of the titular All-American high school football star committed to USC who finds his life upended when he is wrongly convicted of a crime he didn’t commit. The drama premiered at last year’s Los Angeles Film Festival and will be released in theaters nationwide on August 9 by Bleecker Street. Visit the official movie website for updates.
