Jesse Novak is the composer of the new Netflix original series Tuca & Bertie. The animated comedy is created by Lisa Hanawalt and features the voices of Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong. The show is centers on the friendship between two 30-year-old bird women who live in the same apartment building:a cocky, care-free toucan, and an anxious, daydreaming songbird. Hanawalt, Haddish & Wong are also executive producing the project with Raphael Bob-Waksberg, Noel Bright and Steven A. Cohen. Novak (The Mindy Project, Adam Ruins Everything) has previously scored all four seasons of Netflix’s BoJack Horseman for the producers and is on board to return for the show’s fifth season. Tuca & Bertie will premiere on May 3, 2019 exclusively on Netflix.
