Joe Kraemer (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher, The Way of the Gun, Comrade Detective) has been tapped to score the upcoming indie thriller Kindred Spirits. The film is directed by Lucky McKee (The Woman, Red, All Cheerleaders Die) and stars Thora Birch, Macon Blair, Sasha Frolova and Caitlin Stasey. The movie revolves around a single mother whose life is turned upside down when her sister comes home after a long unexplained absence. Chris Siverston (Marauders) wrote the screenplay. Ash Christian (Social Animals, Miles) and Michael Moran (Satanic, Heartthrob) are producing the project. Kindred Spirits is currently in post-production. No word yet on a release date.
Kraemer also recently scored the McKee-produced drama The Man Who Killed Hitler and then The Bigfoot, which was released in select theaters and on VOD last month. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score will be announced soon.
