Magic Light Pictures has released a soundtrack album for the BBC animated holiday special Zog. The album features the original music from the short composed by René Aubry (The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo’s Child, The Highway Rat, Under the Bombs). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Zoë is directed by Max Lang & Daniel Snaddon and stars Sir Lenny Henry, Hugh Skinner, Tracey Ullman, Patsy Ferran and Kit Harington. The film is based on the book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler and tells the story of a clumsy young dragon who longs to win a gold star at Dragon School. The holiday special premiered in the UK on Christmas Day on BBC One.
