Steve Jablonsky (Transformers, The Island, Ender’s Game, Skyscraper) is reteaming with director Peter Berg on the upcoming Netflix original movie Wonderland. The film is based on Robert B. Parker’s Wonderland written by Ace Atkins as part of the detective novel Spenser Series stars Mark Wahlberg, Winston Duke, Alan Arkin, Michael Gaston, Marc Maron, Bokeem Woodbine, Iliza Shlesinger, Post Malone, James DuMont and Hope Wilson. The crime drama follows Spenser as he uncovers the truth about a sensational murder and the twisted conspiracy behind it. Neal H. Moritz (Fast & Furious, 21/22 Jump Street) is producing the project for Original Film, alongside Wahlberg, Stephen Levinson (Entourage, Instant Family) and Berg for Film 44. Jablonsky has previously collaborated with Berg (Friday Night Lights, Hancock, Patriots Day) on the features Battleship, Lone Survivor and Deepwater Horizon. Wonderland is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere in 2020 on Netflix.
As previously reported, Jablonsky also has the film adaptation of Bloodshot (to be released in early 2020) coming up.
