Damon Albarn’s music collective Electric Wave Bureau has composed the music for the upcoming fantasy adventure The Kid Who Would Be King. The film is written and directed by Joe Cornish (Attack the Block) and stars Louis Ashbourne Serkis, Dean Chaumoo, Tom Taylor, Rhianna Dorris, Angus Imrie, Rebecca Ferguson and Patrick Stewart. The movie follows a twelve-year-old British schoolboy whose everyday problems are dwarfed by his discovery of the mythical sword Excalibur. Nira Park (Baby Driver, Hot Fuzz), Tim Bevan & Eric Fellner (Atonement, Les Miserables, Darkest Hour) are producing the Working Title and Big Talk Pictures production. Electric Wave Bureau has previously been credited for scoring the 2012 drama Broken starring Tim Roth & Cillian Murphy and also produced songs for Luc Besson’s Lucy and both Paddington movies.
