La-La Land Records has announced a new 7-CD soundtrack set featuring the music from the first three movies in the Harry Potter series composed by John Williams (Star Wars, Jaws, Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Schindler’s List). The album’s first two discs feature the composer’s expanded and remastered score for 2001’s Chris Columbus-directed Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and the third disc includes the frst-ever recorded presentation of the complete Children’s Suite for Orchestra, which the composer arranged and conducted in 2001. The fourth and fifth discs feature the remastered and expanded score from 2002’s Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets composed by Williams and adapted and conducted by William Ross. The sixth and seventh disc include Williams’ remastered and expanded score from 2004’s Alfonso Cuaron-directed Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
