Varese Sarabande has announced a soundtrack album for the David Lowery’s crime comedy The Old Man & the Gun. The album features the film’s original music composed by Daniel Hart who previously scored the director’s last three features Pete’s Dragon, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints and A Ghost Story. Also included are three songs by The Kinks, Scott Walker and Jackson C. Frank. The soundtrack will be released physically on October 5, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Old Man & the Gun starring Robert Redford, Casey Affleck, Danny Glover, Tika Sumpter, Tom Waits and Sissy Spacek tells the true story of Forrest Tucker, from his audacious escape from San Quentin at the age of 70 to an unprecedented string of heists that confounded authorities and enchanted the public.     • Thanks for flagging that song, which stands out in the film, but the end credits roll by too fast in the theater and IMDB, Wikipedia and other sources DON”T EVEN LIST THE SONGS, just the composer of the theme music. What’s up with that? Anyway, I wanted to I.D. it because it’s so good and I figured it must be the one you mentioned. So was able to find it on i-Tunes. Gracias.
