Michael Andrews (Bridesmaids, Neighbors, Freaks & Geeks, Bad Teacher, Funny People) is reuniting with director Sean Anders on the upcoming comedy Instant Family. The film starring Mark Wahlberg, Rose Byrne, Octavia Spencer, Isabela Moner, Tig Notaro, Iliza Shlesinger and Tom Segura follows a couple who decides to start a family and adopt through the foster-care system, only to find themselves raising three wild kids who have no interest in being parented. Anders (Horrible Bosses 2, Sex Drive) also co-wrote the screenplay with John Morris (We’re the Millers, Hot Tub Time Machine). They are also producing the project with Wahlberg and Steve Levinson (Deepwater Horizon, Entourage). Andrews has previously collaborated with Anders on 2015’s Daddy’s Home and last year’s sequel Daddy’s Home 2. Instant Family is set to be released on February 15, 2019 by Paramount Pictures.
Andrews’ other upcoming feature projects also include the romantic comedy Second Act starring Jennifer Lopez and the thriller Headlock starring Dianna Agron & Andy Garcia.
