Ludwig Goransson and Nathan Matthew David have composed the original score for the upcoming horror comedy Slice. The film is written and directed by Austin Vesely and stars Zazie Beetz, Will Brill and Chance the Rapper. The movie takes place in mysterious city and centers around an enigmatic outlaw framed for a killing spree that targets unsuspecting pizza delivery boys. Brandon Riley is producing the comedy. The project marks the feature directorial debut of Vesely who is best known as the visual collaborator of Chance the Rapper. Goransson has previously worked together with Chance the Rapper on several of his records. Slice is expected to be release later this year by A24.
Goransson (Black Panther, Creed, Fruitvale Station) & David (The Last Word) have previously co-scored USA’s Satisfaction and the TBS comedy Angie Tribeca, which will return for its fourth season later this year. Goransson’s other upcoming projects also include Ruben Fleischer’s Venom.
