The full details of the soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Ready Player One, Predator, The Croods) who has previously scored the studios’ original 2012 Avengers movie, as well 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 27 in two different editions and physically on May 18 by Marvel Music and Hollywood Records. I gotta ask… what is the point of a simultaneous double release? If they intended to put out a deluxe edition, why not wait a few months for it? Or more specifically, why not make that the definitive edition from the start?
Almost all album releases which have a deluxe release are simultaneous. They are priced differently, not everyone is interested in the extra content. And some collectors will get both.
Please Marvel, release just as much music next year with Avengers 4. I can’t stop listing to all the music. This is awesome!!
