Jon Opstad has composed the music for the new BBC drama The Woman in White. The show is adapted by Fiona Seres (Strangerland) based on Wilkie Collins’ novel, directed by Carl Tibbetts and stars Ben Hardy, Jessie Buckley, Olivia Vinall, Dougray Scott, Riccardo Scamarcio and Charles Dance. The mini-series centers on the lives of two half-sisters and their drawing master as they get caught up in a deadly conspiracy revolving around a mentally ill woman dressed all in white. David Thompson (Woman in Gold, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom) is executive producing the project for Origin Pictures, alongside Sarah Stack for the BBC. Opstad has previously collaborated with Tibbetts on two episodes of Black Mirror. The Woman in White will premiere in the UK this Sunday, April 22 on BBC One.
