Composer Laurent Petitgand is reuniting with director Wim Wenders on the upcoming documentary Pope Francis – A Man of His Word. The film sets out to present Pope Francis’ work of reform and his answers to today’s global questions, from his deep concern for the poor and wealth inequality, to his involvement in environmental issues and social justice. Wenders (Wings of Desire, Paris, Texas) is also producing the project with Samanta Gandolfi Branca, Alessandro Lo Monaco, Andrea Gambetta and David Rosier. Petitgand has previously collaborated with Wenders on numerous projects, including 1993’s Faraway, So Close!, 1995’s Beyond the Clouds and 2014’s The Salt of the Earth.
