Colosseum Records has released a soundtrack album for the German drama The Silent Revolution (Das schweigende Klassenzimmer). The album features the film’s original music composed by Christoph M. Kaiser & Julian Maas (The People vs. Fritz Bauer, Two Lives). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples and check out the track list. The Silent Revolution is directed Lars Kraume and stars Leonard Scheicher, Tom Gramenz, Lena Klenke, Jonas Dassler, Isaiah Michalski, Ronald Zehrfeld and Carina Wiese. The movie is based on the book by Dietrich Garstka and follows a group of sixth-grade pupils who decide to show their solidarity with the victims of the 1956 Hungarian uprising by staging a minute’s silence during lessons. The drama premiered last month at the Berlin Film Festival and is being released in German theaters this weekend. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
