Adam Wiltzie has been tapped to score the upcoming documentary Whitney. The film directed by Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland, Touching the Void, State of Play) and takes an in-depth look at the life and career of Whitney Houston who broke more records than any other female singer in the history of popular music, with over 200 million album sales worldwide, and inspired a generation of singers from Mariah Carey and Lady Gaga to Beyoncé. The movie, which marks the first documentary to be officially authorized by Houston’s estate, is produced by Simon Chinn (Man on Wire, Searching for Sugar Man), Jonathan Chinn (LA 92) and Lisa Erspamer. Whitney is set to be released in theaters on July 6, 2018 by Roadside Attractions.
