Jon Brion has signed on to score the upcoming romantic comedy Isn’t It Romantic?. The film is directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, The Final Girls) and stars Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine, Liam Hemsworth, Priyanka Chopra and Betty Gilpin. The movie tells the story of a cynical woman who discovers that her life has become a romantic comedy, and she goes from sidekick to center stage. Erin Cardillo (Life Sentence), Dana Fox (Couple Retreat, How to Be Single) & Katie Silberman and Paula Pell (Sisters) wrote the screenplay. Todd Garner (Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Knight and Day), Grant Scharbo and Gina Matthews (What Women Want, Popular) are producing the New Line Cinema production. Isn’t It Romantic? is set to be released on February 14, 2019 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Brion (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Magnolia, I Heart Huckabees, Trainwreck, The Other Guys) has also recently scored the Academy Award-nominated comedy drama Lady Bird, which is currently playing in theaters nationwide.
