Columbia Records will release the demo version of the original song I Promise You from the family comedy Peter Rabbit. The track is performed by Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig who also co-wrote the song with director Will Gluck and will be released as a digital single tomorrow, February 16 and will be available to download on Amazon. The label has previously released the version of the song performed by James Corden last week as a single, which also featured a score suite by Dominic Lewis. A full soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score is also in the works. Peter Rabbit starring Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson & Sam Neill, as well as Corden, Daisy Ridley, Elizabeth Debicki and Margot Robbie opened last weekend and is currently playing in theaters nationwide.
