Cat’s Eyes (aka Faris Badwan and Rachel Zeffira) have composed the music for the upcoming thriller Elizabeth Harvest. The film is written and directed by Sebastian Gutierrez (Judas Kiss, Girl Walks Into a Bar) and stars Abbey Lee, Ciaran Hinds, Carla Gugino, Matthew Beard and Dylan Baker. The movie is a science fiction reimagining of the French folktale of Bluebeard, in which a violent nobleman in the habit of murdering his wives is confronted by a new wife trying to avoid the fate of her predecessors. Gutierrez is also producing the project with Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Sinister, Midnight Special), Leon Clarance (Sense8, Come and Find Me) and Fred Berger (La La Land, The Autopsy of Jane Doe). The film marks the second feature scoring project for Cat’s Eyes following 2014’s The Duke of Burgundy. Elizabeth Harvest will premiere next month at the SXSW Film Festival.
