Nick Urata is scoring the upcoming coming-of-age drama The True Adventures of Wolfboy. The movie marks the feature directorial debut of Martin Krejci and stars Jaeden Lieberher, John Turturro, Chris Messina, Eve Hewson, Chloe Sevigny, Sophie Giannamore and Michelle Wilson. The movie revolves around a teenage boy who runs away from home in the search of his estranged mother. Olivia Dufault wrote the screenplay. Kimberly Steward, Josh Godfrey & Lauren Beck (Manchester by the Sea) are producing the project for K Period Media, alongside Declan Baldwin (The Last of Robin Hood) for Big Indie Pictures and Benjamin Blake for Heroes and Villains Entertainment. The True Adventures of Wolfboy is expected to premiere later this year.
As previously reported, Urata (Paddington, Crazy, Stupid, Love., Little Miss Sunshine, Focus) also has the Amazon original series The Dangerous Book for Boys coming up.
