Madison Gate Records will release the theme from the new CBS drama S.W.A.T. The track is a new version of Barry De Vorzon’s main titles theme from the classic 70s series and is performed by the reboot’s composer Robert Duncan (Castle, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Unit, Timeless, Terriers). The theme will be released as a digital single on October 24, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to an audio clip. S.W.A.T. is developed by Aaron Thomas and stars Shemar Moore, Stephanie Sigman, Alex Russell, Jay Harrington, Lina Esco, Kenny Johnson and Peter Onorati. The series produced by Shawn Ryan follows a locally born and bred S.W.A.T. sergeant who is torn between loyalty to the streets and duty to his fellow officers when he’s tasked to run a specialized tactical unit that is the last stop in law enforcement in Los Angeles. The show will premiere on November 2, 2017 and is set to air every Thursday night on CBS. Visit the official show website for updates.
