Danny Elfman confirmed during a press interview promoting his Danny Elfman’s Music From the Films of Tim Burton concert in Mexico City later this month that he will be reuniting with director Tim Burton on the upcoming live-action adaptation of Disney’s Dumbo. Elfman has previously scored all of Burton’s most movies except for 1995’s Ed Wood, 2007’s Sweeney Todd and last year’s Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar ChildrenDumbo is set to be released on March 29, 2019 by Walt Disney Pictures.

Elfman’s other upcoming projects also include Justice League, Fifty Shades Freed and Gus Van Sant’s Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far On Foot.

    • Chris Ayres says:

The Ring is the only good thing he’s ever written. Everything else is either super mediocre or just fucking abysmal.

      • CNardei says:

What about his score for Men in Black? Or the main score to Tim Burton’s Batman? I think most people love his opening music for Men in Black.

        • Chris Ayres says:

I was talking about Ehren Kruger.

        • Brent Simon says:

Yeah, obviously you replied to someone that was talking about the screenplay writer and that Elfman didn’t compose the music for The Ring. I believe that was Hans Zimmer.

    • Dylan Emery says:

      Ditto.

  2. Nick says:

    FUCK YES!!!!

  3. Nick says:

    Hell yeah!

  4. Mike says:

Looks like this could be superb, Burton and Elfman have covered a lot of ground together and seem to fit like hand in glove so to speak. My favourite is Edward Scissorhands. Quality..
