Robert Duncan is reuniting with writer/producer Shawn Ryan on the upcoming CBS drama S.W.A.T. The show is developed by Aaron Thomas inspired by the 2003 feature of the same title (scored by Elliot Goldenthal) and stars Shemar Moore, Stephanie Sigman, Alex Russell, Jay Harrington, Lina Esco, Kenny Johnson and Peter Onorati. The series follows a locally born and bred S.W.A.T. sergeant who is torn between loyalty to the streets and duty to his fellow officers when he’s tasked to run a specialized tactical unit that is the last stop in law enforcement in Los Angeles. Aaron Thomas executive producing the Sony Pictures Television and CBS Television Studios production with Ryan, Neal Moritz (21/22 Jump Street, Prison Break), Marney Hochman (The Get Down), Danielle Woodrow and Pavun Shetty. Justin Lin (Fast & Furious, Star Trek Beyond) directed the pilot episode. Duncan has previously collaborated with Ryan on such shows as The Unit, Last Resort, Terriers, Mad Dogs and The Chicago Code. Duncan will also return to score the second season of the Ryan-produced NBC drama Timeless, which is set to premiere in 2018.
