Dustin O’Halloran has been tapped to score the upcoming Sky Atlantic series Save Me. The show is created by actor Lennie James (The Walking Dead, Critical) who also stars in the drama alongside Suranne Jones and Stephen Graham. The 6-parter centers on a man who is falsely accused of a terrible crime and sets off to clear his name and find the real perpetrator. Nick Murphy (The Awakening, Blood, The Last Kingdom) is directing the show. Simon Heath (Line of Duty, United) and Jessica Sykes are executive producing the project. Save Me is expected to premiere later this year on Sky Atlantic in the UK. No word yet on a domestic premiere date.
Other recent projects of O’Halloran (Lion, Transparent, Like Crazy) include the drama God’s Own Country, which he scored as part of “A Winged Victory for the Sullen”. The movie premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and was recently picked up by Samuel Goldwyn Films and Orion Pictures for a U.S. theatrical release this fall.
