Eric Hachikian is composing the original score for the upcoming romantic comedy When We First Met. The film is directed by Ari Sandel (The DUFF, West Bank Story) and stars Adam Devine, Alexandra Daddario and Robbie Amell. The movie revolves around a man who spends the perfect first night with the girl of his dreams, but gets relegated to the friend zone. Three years later, he gets the unexpected chance to travel back in time and alter that night, and his fate, over and over again. Devine also co-wrote the screenplay with John Whittington (The LEGO Batman Movie). Adam Saunders (About Alex), Mason Novick (Juno, 500 Days of Summer), Mary Viola (Kevin From Work) and McG (Charlie’s Angels, Terminator: Salvation) are producing the Footprint Features, MXN and Wonderland Sound and Vision production. No release date and distribution deal have been announced yet for the project.
Hachikian’s previous scoring credits include Netflix’s Marco Polo, the drama Life of a King starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and the comedy drama Holding Patterns starring Freddie Highmore, Odeya Rush, Christopher Meloni & Haley Joel Osment.
