Broadway Records has released a score album for the comedy drama Speech & Debate. The album features the film’s original music composed by Deborah Lurie (Dear John, 9, An Unfinished Life, Safe Haven). The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio samples. The label has also released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie. Speech & Debate directed by Dan Harris is based on Stephen Karam’s off-Broadway of the same title and stars Liam James, Sarah Steele, Austin McKenzie, Roger Bart, Janeane Garofalo, Wendi McLondon-Covey, Kal Penn, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Skylar Astin and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The dramedy was released select theaters and on VOD this past Friday by Vertical Entertainment.
